I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada and have lived on the West Coast of British Columbia for over 30 years. Painting, full-time now, for more than two decades, the drive to create has been with me all my life. In my twenties, after receiving my bachelor of arts degree, I came out to Victoria and took an opportunity to apprentice in the jewellery trade.
After over a decade of creating fine gold and silver jewellery, the transition to painting was made for its total freedom of expression. Initially, I began working in watercolour and later transitioned to acrylics. Nature’s powerful beauty has been my primary source of inspiration.
See below for info regarding my shows, awards and art education.
